Dear Readers - I'm doing a mid-month update because I'll be in the US in earlyAugust and unable to update this page again until 1st September.

The big news is that I have finally got some answers about e-book availability. You can find a list of sites at which my e-books are available covering, I'm told, all countries in the world. In some cases, some of my titles are still "on the way" but that's where you will find them.

And yes, some older formats are now no longer available, or so it seems to me. It seems to be Kindle, iBooks, and Kobo everywhere, and the other formats only in the US. If you want to complain, you need to complain to publishers and/or the originators of your devices. Authors are unable to do anything about this (and believe me, I've tried).

Meanwhile, despite the chilly weather here, I've been having a ball writing the lastest opus. More on that in a moment, but first...

Ta-da! - THE BRAZEN BRIDE is now out there, gracing shelves up and down North America, and has hit the New York Times and USA-Today bestseller lists. Make sure to grab your copy and learn what happens to Logan and his Linnet as they battle to get their copy of the vital evidence to Royce and Devil, drawing out the Black Cobra's forces along the way.

I hope you have fun and are swept away by the passion and adventure in THE BRAZEN BRIDE.

And a continuing bow to the wonderful Simon Prebble, he of the plumiest of rich, plummy voices. He won the audio-book Oscar-equivalent, the 2009 Audie Award for Romance for his narration of THE UNTAMED BRIDE, from Blackstone Audio. He absolutely deserved it - fabulous to see recognition where recognition is due!

Also up for awards are MASTERED BY LOVE, and TEMPTATION AND SURRENDER, both of which are finalists in the Romance Writers of Australia RUB*Y award for Best Long Romance.

Later this month, I'll be appearing at books signings in Birmingham, Alabama and Orlando, Florida. Check the Engagements Page for details.

All of you within reach of Orlando, please do check out the venue and time of the big Romance Writers of America literacy signing - there'll be upward of 500 romance authors all in one place, and yes, all the big names do attend, and the proceeds of any books bought go straight to literacy funding. Note: all the books are donated by our publishers, so whatever you pay, 100% goes to charity.

Then in late August, I'll be off to New Zealand to the Romance Writers of New Zealand conference there.

And then it'll be back to my cave to finish the first of the new trilogy that will be starting next year (see below).

But first....

The final volume in the quartet, THE RECKLESS BRIDE, is done and in production - it's on its way to being a very special Christmas release on October 26, 2010, when the story ends with combined Cynster and Bastion Club Christmas celebrations. Lots of drama, passion, fun and excitement coming up! Lots of Cynsters and Bastion Club members assisting our intrepid heros as they finally unmask and, courtesy of the last heroine, capture, the Black Cobra.

The cover, excerpt and back cover blurb will be up on this site in August.

Many thanks to all those who voted in the recent IT HAPPENED ONE SEASON contest. The four novellas based on the winning storyline will be released as the anthology IT HAPPENED ONE SEASON in early 2011. I've finished my contribution, and had a great deal of fun reconnecting with a heroine and her family who have waltzed across my pages before.

SO WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT?

I have indeed started the next book, scheduled for release after the anthology above, in the summer of 2011. It's the first of a fantastic new trilogy and I'm having the most amazing fun with it. You've met the heroine before, you've been asking after this hero for years and...can I just add...Scotland.

There'll be a lot more on this next trilogy up on this site in December, after the release of the last volume of the Black Cobra Quartet.
